Install gauges to check operating pressures
Check temperature rise across evaporator coil
Check voltage & amperage to all motors
Check for adequate refrigeration charge & possible leaks
Check reversing valve operation
Lubricate all moving parts

Check thermostat operation and adjustments
Check electrical connections and breakers
